CraftedBills combines invoices received through KSeF TEST with local PDFs, watched folders and on-device OCR. Foreign invoices remain first-class documents even when they never appear in KSeF.

**KSeF TEST and local sources in the current MVP**

## One document view across sources

- **Polish invoices from KSeF:** Incremental Subject2 sync keeps the original XML and a safe checkpoint.
- **Foreign and local PDFs:** Files from suppliers such as online subscriptions enter the same matching flow.
- **Scans stay on-device:** Apple Vision OCR reads Polish and English scans without sending the image to a generic cloud service.

## What happens to a document

1. **Discover** — Add a PDF, select a watched folder or run KSeF TEST synchronization.
2. **Preserve** — CraftedBills keeps the original PDF or XML and stores a managed local copy.
3. **Extract** — PDFKit reads text PDFs; Apple Vision OCR handles supported scans locally.
4. **Deduplicate, link and match** — A strict identity check links a local PDF and KSeF XML as one logical invoice while preserving both originals.

## Product boundaries

- Public, read-only marketing website.
- The current MVP works locally on macOS and has an iOS simulator build. KSeF TEST and Fakturownia publishing adapters are ready for controlled credential-based validation; production KSeF remains disabled.
- CraftedBills is software and an app that help solo entrepreneurs navigate the process of preparing settlement documents and handing them over to accounting.
- No public API, authentication, checkout, payment or agent actions are available on this website.
